I haven't yet seen a movie that's scared me, save those I saw when I was young. If there are any suggestions as to which movie(s) i could watch that might actually have this effect, I would like to hear them.

I never said these films in fact "Scared" me, but I love them so much, I figured I'd list them. For the sake of doing so.

yea, okay. Just the same. I wouldn't mind hearing about a movie that might chance to scare me at this point in my life. Sure, I was afraid of many movies when i was younger...that was also then and not now.
Apart from that, I also liked 13 Ghosts, Freddy Vs. Jason, Saw, Hannibal, and the Exorcist. My favorite of the Hannibal series would be Silence of the Lambs. I liked the book Red Dragon the best with Hannibal in a close second.

I finished Silence of the lambs about a month or so ago. I am of the opinion that Red dragon was the better of the books. That's not saying that Silence of the Lambs wasn't good. It was awesome. I just liked hearing about Dolarhyde...ya know. Get the background of the killer. SOTL didn't really go into Jame Gumb. That's my distinction and opinion though.

Sure it did.
Red Dragon is my personal favorite of the films, but Silence just had creepier visual descriptions. *Hannibal wearing that cop's face to escape* Not to mention, a better climax in the ending.

hannibal was probably the most descriptive of the books, i think. Red Dragon, i think, was better, because it made you sympathize with the killer, in a way. you didn't want him to lose, but then again, you didn't want him to win. i like the twist ending too.
