sorry. I'm all for order, but not when it's imposing restrictions on things that really don't hurt people.

I understand that it's mostly economical, but those issues would really settle themselves within just a few months.

what issues would settle themselves in a few months? Our economical problem is too bad already. Look at the gas prices, huh? Yea, thats a problem that didnt solve itself within a few months. An economical problem spurred by legalizing marijuana wouldnt just resolve itself "in a few months." Look at our politicians....they wouldn't let it resolve itself in a few months. And legalizing it here means larger influx of immigrants, legal and illegal. If you can smoke, sell, and grow weed here, that means that other than a select few other countries, all other countries can't. The United States is huge and has a very big border that isn't all closed or protected. More Mexicans coming up here to get into the business...more people, damnit!!! Then we are forced to tighten border security because they sneak other shit in with the weed. Which costs ourselves MORE money. That doesn't sound like an economical problem that'd resolve itself "in a few months."

really it up to the person with the problem to resolve the issue to fix it once for all but i don't think that happens with most Drugi's

Really, I don't think legalizing marijuana right now would be smart. Who needs all the extra people here. Our border is huge. The Canadian side is not protected, the Mexican side...you could believe its protected if you want but then look at how many there are here illegally. The North American Free Trade Agreement...open borders. The Gulf has border issues already. And besides, few other countries have it legalized, who would we trade the marijuana with? Yea, it'd be a domestic commodity, bought either domestically or illegally as an export.

Exactly. Its not only the export/import of products and goods that we're having trouble with. Think about the immigration of people. Think we gotta problem now? Ha, now think of the problem we'd have with marijuana legalized. Helluva lotta people, helluva big problem.

yes, illegal immigrants are out of control, probably the only way to stop it is is to have the military patrol and shoot one site (note this is really not right)

Well, there is an illegal immigrant problem. My mom came here from Mexico legally. There are tons that come here illegally tho. My aunt got deported and I know of other people coming here from Mexico through loopholes and marrying just to get to America. Legal marijuana will just heighten the problem we already face. Remember that the only tax these illegal immigrants pay is sales tax, but if they get in an accident and don't have insurance, we pay for it. That aint right, is it?

Yea, I know. I wasn't using that information against you or because you offended me. I am all for increased border patrol. I was just making a point that I'm half and I know people that come over that shouldnt be here yet I'm still against illegal immigration.
Hey, you know how we could rise above being American? Being illegal Mexicans in America! Seriously, look at it this way. We move down to Mexico and become citizens. Live off our American money for a few weeks as vacation. Then we come back up here, hop the border, and bam! We can enjoy all the freedoms of being an American without having to pay any tax, except sales tax. We can even get a license. Then when we want to be American again...get knocked up, claim citizenship for the kid and the mother gets to stay too, even go on Welfare as well. Seriously, we could be the free-est people in the world. Getting to Mexico, now that'll be the hard part, but coming across to America? that'll be the easy part. ;D
